Crocheted Collaboration & Baby Things

Life has really gotten in the way of blogging lately, but I guess that's a good thing, right? I have been a knitting and crocheting fiend. Lots of new babies are arriving into our extended family this year, so most of my projects have been in smaller sizes. I have casted on a pair of winter socks for myself, and am working on those Christmas stockings (still) for my own munchkins. My first crocheted sweater. Made for a beautiful, dark-haired, brand-new baby girl in the family. While it is by no means perfect, it was surprisingly easier to make than I thought it would be. My cousin and I collaborated on this project, she made the hat while I made the sweater. We used the patterns Baby Daisy Cloche by Bonny Smith and Aunt Jen's Sweater by Sandi's Angels.

These are coordinating Baby Mary Jane Skimmers by Sylvia Schuchardt I made. Sweater, hat and shoes were made with Lion Brand Baby yarn in Sweet Pea. I also made a summer hat and shoes using Lion Brand Cotton yarn in poppy & white. The shoes are way too big right now, but the hat looks adorable on Baby E. :)

I'm currently working on a blanket and a pair of camo loafers for Baby Tucker. Hope to post an update soon!

Be blessed,

Amy
