Card Circus

Hello Bloggers!
Well, my kiddos and I stamped all day today! We had a lot of fun together and everyone made some cute cards I think. :) Here are a few of mine.

Puppy Love Valentine
  • Stampin' Up - Animal Valentines (retired), Studio G's i adore you
  • Black cardstock, and I think the heart paper is from the Paper Studio
  • Red ribbon, crystal rhinestone brads
  • Cotton Candy & Christmas Red Stickles for the glitz!
Thinking of You
This card is from a SmARTworks sketch challenge..I'm way late, but still getting my version out there! Here's a link...Heidi designed this sketch!
  • All Stamps by Studio G
  • Red DCWV cardstock, striped paper by My Mind's Eye (Magnolia Stack)
  • Marvy Scalloped Square punch (thanks Heidi!), Stampin' Up's circle punch
  • Black Diamond Stickles
True Love - Gator Style!
  • Stamps are Animal Valentines from Stampin' Up (retired)
  • black cardstock, I love you paper by The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)
  • Christmas Red Stickles for the hearts and Crystal Stickles for gator's body

I think this one is my favorite of the day. Super simple too! I paper pieced the butterflies.
  • Stampin' Up Shapes and Shadows butterfly stamp, sentiment by Studio G
  • teal DCWV cardstock
  • timber brown stazon
  • Pattern paper is My Mind's Eye Magnolia Stack
Oh, how I dislike making sympathy cards! Some of our friends had a grandparent pass away this week, so this card was made with them in mind. I actually used a card sketch from SmArtworks. Here's a link to one of the designer's sketches.
  • Matthew 5:4 stamp by Stampabilities
  • paper by My Mind's Eye (magnolia again!) brown DCWV cardstock
  • Timber Brown Stazon, big brown buttons
Tiny Miracle
And life comes full circle with a baby card! Other friends of ours have recently announced that they are expecting their first child. I wanted to send our congratulations, so here's what I came up with. Colorful huh? I wonder if they'll think I'm wishing triplets on them? LOL
  • All stamps by Studio G
  • Paper is red DCWV, My Mind's Eye stripe (magnolia)
  • Prismacolors, mineral spirits, Crystal Stickles, yellow eyelets

In other crafty news, I'm still plugging away on my afghan. I finshed one square last night at a mom's night out at a friend's house. Plus, I finally received my invite to Ravelry! I was so excited! I only had to wait about two weeks, so that wasn't as bad as I thought. The patterns there are just amazing, and I'm lining up projects one after the other. That's probably not a good thing, huh? LOL
