Christmas/Winter cards

Hello Bloggers!
I had the wonderful blessing of getting to stamp with my mom & my daughter today! We had a great time, and all of us created some pretty cute cards. Mom left a couple of hours ago, but I just now finally got my mess cleaned up. I don't have time to post card recipes right now, but I thought I'd post pics of my cards before time gets away from me.

I was so excited to actually get to use this stamp! I've had it for many years, but never found a way to use it that I've liked. I've embossed her in gold and then silver..tried coloring her in..and nope, didn't care for the results. Except this time!! I paper pieced her dress on, used prismacolors and mineral spirits to color the rest, and added loads of sparkle!! I'm not much of an angel stamp person, but I'm satisified with how this one turned out.

This is dollar stamp that I thought was cute. I love snowmen! I added flaky snow glitter for them to stand in.

Another dollar stamp...isn't this stamp just darling? The skating snowman makes me smile. :) Colored him with prismacolors and mineral spirits. Added colored brads and red ric rac. Paper is mellow moss and glitter christmas stack from DCWV.

I loved this paper, I think it's from last year's JoAnn's Christmas stack, or maybe Hobby Lobby's? Anyway, I liked this sentiment on this card, but wanted it to pop a bit more. I borrowed my cousin Heidi's idea of adding glitter as a trim. You can see her card here.
Gotta run, have a wonderful weekend!!
Be blessed,
Amy
