It's been awhile since I've updated here! I have been crafty, but on a super-slow scale since we've started back to school. For those of you who don't know, I'm a homeschooling mama, so my spare time greatly diminishes come September every year. I'm working on making time for just me though, always working on that.
Here's a project I finished for a dear friend of mine. I found the acrylic paint can at Flower Factory and really wanted to try to do something cute with it. I slapped on some paper, ribbons and filled it with candy. I think it turned out cute for my first attempt. My daughter wants one now. I'm thinking about buying the bigger containers and making Christmas ones for the kids. Now, if I could find some paper with dragons on it. :D
This is the card that went with the paint can. It was the first time I've ever paper-pieced something. You can see the detail if you click on the pic. Stamps used are Stampin' Up's Sweet Treats (retired) and Studio G swirls & sentiment.

Hubby and were back at Flower Factory tonight, and I picked up this Stampendous penguins stamp. I'm not sure what my new fascination with penguins is..but I think they are super cute for Christmas card stuff. Maybe I'll be back soon with cards that show this stamp off. Maybe, just maybe! ;-)
Be blessed,
Amy
